Harley Quinn fans should be very happy right now, because I’ve got some good news to share with you! DC Entertainment has made an announcement that they will be developing a Harley Quinn adult animated series.
The series is currently being developed by a very creative team that consists of Justin Halpern, Patrick Schumacker, and Dean Lorey, the same team developed Powerless, the DC series that ended up being canceled.
The first season of Harley Quinn adult animated series will feature 26 half-hour episodes, this will be the third show that will air on DC’S digital streaming service.Based on the report gathered Margot Robbie who played the character Suicide Squad will be the voice of the character in this latest series(this is yet to be confirmed) this series will be aimed at an adult audience.
The much anticipated Harley Quinn adult animated series will also be featuring Poison Ivy and many heroes and villains from the DC world.
The animation entails the journey of Harley as she breaks things off with the Joker and make it on her own as the clown princess of crime alongside Poison Ivy.
Reports gathered reveals the story will take a clue from Amanda Conner, Jimmy Palmiotti, and Chad Hardin’s comic book run as part of the New 52 and DC Rebirth.
Sam Register the president of Warner Bros.Animation will be the executive producer, Jennifer Coyle of Ehsugadee will also be among the producers.
DC character Harley Quinn tends to be the fans favourite right now.Harley will be reprising her role in the upcoming Gotham City Sirens movie, and she also got a feature in the DC’s latest animated movie.
Harley Quinn now seems to be a very popular character in DC comic books, video games, and TV shows.
The potential release date is not yet known but hopefully, it will be in 2018.
